Starters is the first step in our player development pathway. This program is built to teach the basics inside a structured environment where expectations are clear and coaching is consistent.
At this level, the focus is on how players move, how they listen, and how they operate within a class. Players are learning control, coordination, and how to stay engaged, while becoming more comfortable on the court.
Everything is taught with patience and structure so players build confidence while developing the right habits from the beginning.
Bridge Starters follows a month-by-month development plan that builds skills progressively all year. Each month focuses on a specific area of development.
In Starters, players are constantly moving and engaged. They are reacting to coaching, learning how to control their body, and getting comfortable with the ball through guided repetition. Each class keeps things simple and clear so players understand what they are doing while building confidence along the way.
At this level, our coaches are patient and intentional, taking the time to guide each trainee through the process so they can learn, improve, and become more comfortable on the court.
Each class is active from start to finish. Trainees are moving, listening, and responding to coaching the entire time while working through simple, guided activities that help them stay engaged and continue improving.
Over time, players become more comfortable, more confident, and more engaged in the class. They begin to understand what to do, how to do it, and how to stay involved from start to finish.
